Are you conscious some or all of your teeth are discoloured or stained? Do you feel embarrassed to smile sometimes?
At Dental 397, we provide professional teeth whitening to remove stains caused naturally over time and artificially by smoking, coffee and other methods. We balance the colour of your teeth and achieve a naturally whiter smile of up to 10 shades difference.
Teeth whitening is a treatment carried out to reverse the effects of teeth discolouration, which naturally occurs over time. It can restore youth to a beautiful smile.
Customised trays are made, filled with the whitening gel and worn for 3hours daily or overnight for 2-3 weeks to give a beautiful white smile.
This gives you the flexibility to maintain the new colour of your teeth and never let your smile fade.
At Dental 397, we use the Enlighten teeth whitening system to give you the smile you deserve.
As our patient, you will enjoy the very best in patient care in a warm and welcoming environment.
We will discuss your concerns concerning your teeth.
Your teeth are thoroughly assessed, and checked for plaque, stains, gum disease, tooth wear and sensitivity.
Digital photographs are taken to record the colour of your teeth and a treatment plan is formed.
We will take the impressions and have the whitening trays made. At the end of this appointment, you are shown how to use our home whitening kit in the comfort of your own home.
We arrange a review appointment 3 weeks later to record your tooth colour and desensitize your teeth.

Your teeth may be slightly sensitive a few days after the tooth whitening treatment, but this is only temporary; any sensitivity typically disappears within 1 week.
DOES TEETH WHITENING DAMAGE MY TEETH?
No. The system simply bleaches your teeth to remove stains and discolouration. Studies have shown that the enamel and structure of your teeth remains unaffected.
During your initial consultation, we investigate the cause of tooth discoloration and take clinical photos with shade tabs to record the starting tooth colour. This enables us to monitor progress as your teeth get whiter in colour.
