I once asked a good friend what her life aspirations were – she replied that she wanted to be happy.
I must confess, at the time, I was rather disappointed by her reply. How much more vague and unambitious could one possibly be? I thought in my arrogance.
Since then, I’ve grown a little and now understand that many spend a lifetime in the pursuit of Happiness.
Being happy can mean so many different things to different people, but we all know it when we experience it.
Happiness is such a strong emotional state that it affects not only the happy person, but can make other people around you happy too; even if only for a moment.
Happy has the universally acknowledged symbol of a smile 🙂
So the next time you ask me what I do for work, my answer will be that I work in the Happiness Display sciences . . .
Me-thinks that sounds loads better than the word Dentist 😉
